Synchroettes Dazzle Crowd at Fundraiser

Tuesday's performance helped collect donations for Toys for Tots.

The Synchroettes put on an exhibition to remember on Tuesday for a good cause. The Essex County Skating Club’s synchronized ice skating team presented a show at the Richard J. Codey Arena to help raise donations for Toys for Tots.

The Synchroettes put on a 14 act show that featured multiple teams of female ice-skaters, ages 4-18, skating to different songs and musical acts. The show lasted for one hour and featured teams ranging from beginner to junior levels.

Before the event, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. presented a proclamation to the juniors teams that declared Dec.18 as "Synchroettes Day in Essex County."
