Longtime Livingston denizens extended a welcoming hand to new residents Monday with a picnic at the Senior/Community Center. 

More than 80 people gathered at the community center for a hot dinner and to learn about the ins and outs of the township. New arrivals were greeted by Mayor Rudy Fernandez and School Superintendent John Alfieri, as well as sundry other officials.
