Another wintry-weather mix is expected to greet morning commuters on Tuesday.

Snow is predicted to fall Tuesday morning and early afternoon until about 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. New snow accumulation could be between 2-4 inches. Temperatures will also drop to 30 degrees.

The day will clear up after that but temperatures will continue to fall to about 17 degrees.

The rest of the week is expected to be snow-free — albeit cold. Temperatures will remain in the 20s through Friday with lows in the teens, according to the NWS.

Respite from the snow will be short-lived as more wintry weather is expected for the weekend.

Rain and snow are likely for Saturday as temperatures climb slightly to a high in the 30s and a low in the 20s.
