Livingston Summer Concert Series Returns to the Gazebo

The four-week Livingston Summer Concert Series will kick off in July with a classic rock group and end with the longest running Bruce Springsteen tribute band.

The free concerts at the Gazebo at Memorial Field will be held each Sunday in July from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Those attending the concerts should bring blankets or chairs for the performances. Concerts will be held in the Livingston High School auditorium if there is inclement weather.

The Livingston Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Regal Bank, begins on July 6.

Here is this year's schedule:

• Sunday, July 6: The Kootz (classic rock)
• Sunday, July 13: Manhattan Skyline (doo-wop)
• Sunday, July 20: The British Invasion Tribute (covers famous British bands)
• Sunday, July 27: The B-Street Band (Bruce Springsteen tribute band)

The concert series will also feature many giveaways from Regal Bank. New this year is a photo contest. Concert attendees are invited to snap pictures and post them to Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #RegalBankConcert during the shows.

At the end of each performance, one photo will be announced as the weekly contest winner based on these criteria: creativity and originality (25 percent), aesthetics (25 percent), overall engagement (25 percent) and fit to the theme (25 percent). Each weekly winner will receive a $50 gift card. At the end of the series, one grand prize winner will be chosen to receive a $100 gift card.
