Livingston's Art at the Oval: Call for Artists

The Arts Council of Livingston is looking for artists for the 13th annual "Art at the Oval."

The Arts Council of Livingston will be holding it’s thirteenth annual “Art at the Oval,” on Sunday, October 7.  Art at the Oval is a juried, outdoor fine art and fine craft exhibit and sale with unique exhibits from many well-known area artists.   The event, which spans the picturesque Livingston Oval, is a well known tradition in town and draws artists from the entire tri-state area and beyond.

Applications are now being taken and all artists are invited to compete in this prestigious event.  Due to the demand we will be accepting the applications on a first serve first serve basis.   Categories are:  paintings in oils, watercolor and pastels, drawings, photography, mixed-media, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and wearable art.  Cash prizes are awarded in each category. The fee for a 10x10 exhibit space is $75 and there are a limited number of fencing spaces available.

In addition to being a juried art show the event will feature many free activities for children and adults including face painting, clay sculpture and crafts projects plus live music by Paul Stefany, an outstanding musician and composer.
