Livingston Bicentennial Committee Releases Event Schedule

The committee plans 12 months of celebration.

This year is Livingston's Bicentennial year and the Livingston Bicentennial Committee has a year-long worth of celebrations planned.

The committee has been meeting for almost two years, resulting in a schedule of events fitting for a 200th birthday.  Each month has a theme, with specific events designed to fit that month's theme.

  • Jan. 1, Tuesday: Annual Reorganization Meeting and Reception
  • Jan. 21, Monday: Day of Service on Martin Luther King Day
  • Jan. 24, Thursday: Volunteer Recognition Day
  • Jan. 26, Saturday: Volunteer Fair

February: Honoring Our Founders

  • Feb. 5, Tuesday: Founder's Day Observance featuring Governor Tom Kean
  • Feb. 27, Wednesday: Environmental Film Festival
