Community Corner

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service to be held Sunday

The annual service will also collect food for C.H.O.W.

The Livingston Interfaith Clergy Association will host the annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Temple B'nai Abraham.

Clergy from many houses of worship in the township will lead and participate in the service.  The adult and children's choirs from Temple Emanu-El of West Essex will also participate.

This year's offering will be directed to C.H.O.W. (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) a joint effort of the Livingston Clergy Association.  Livingston C.H.O.W. was begun several years ago as a way for all the houses of worship to pool their resources together in order to more effectively meet the needs of people in need of Livingston and the surrounding communities.  The program is managed by Sister Barbara Howard through the Sharing office of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church.
