Ronald Schwarz Named Treasurer of Metro YMCA of the Oranges

(Livingston, NJ) – Ronald E. Schwarz, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer at Lakeland Bank headquartered in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, was elected Treasurer of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges Board of Directors at the YMCA’s Board meeting in June. He succeeds Stuart Vorcheimer, who was elected Chairman.

Schwarz, an active volunteer with the YMCA since 2011, has served as 2012 Co-Chair of the Metro YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. “I’m honored to serve on the Board of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges. I can say it has been one of the best decisions I have made. It’s important for me to volunteer for an organization that has such positive influence in the lives of children, families and adults by making sure everyone who needs our help, get it.” says Schwarz. “As Treasurer of the Board of Directors, I am excited to continue to work with fellow board members and Y leadership team to continue the direction and execution of our strategic vision strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.”

Schwarz graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
