The Klezmer group Tsu Fil Duvids (Yiddish for “too many Davids”) will entertain and teach about the Klezmer revival in the U.S.  The ensemble is comprised of piano, clarinet, bass, violin, trumpet, accordion, keyboard, and drums. Klezmer is Jewish folk music in the tradition of the Ashkenazic Jews of eastern Europe. It originally consisted of dance tunes and instrumental display pieces for weddings and other celebrations.

The program will be followed by a delicious, full-course hot dinner. There is a small fee for the program and dinner.  There will be a discount for those who pay before March 24. For information or reservations, contact adulteducation@emanuel.org, or call (973) 992-5560.
