Chocolate lovers everywhere came out to support the shelter cats of Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter during the “Kitty and the Chocolate Factory,” event held on Sunday, March 2nd. Attendees were invited to indulge in a delicious chocolate buffet, as well as participate in games, a costume contest,  and photo booth all based on the “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” movie, but with a furry twist! All proceeds benefited the shelter cats of Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter.

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, located at 194 Route 10 West in East Hanover, NJ (behind Petsmart) is a 501c3 nonprofit animal welfare organization that is 100% privately funded.   The organization provides exceptional care for homeless animals while promoting spaying/neutering,  microchipping and humane education.  Mt.
