  • Livingston High School Science National Honor Society's will hold a presentation about mulch and compost on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, at 204 Hillside Ave. The program is part of the honor society's Food Day Events, more of which are planned in October and November. For more information, call (973) 535-7925, ext. 260 or send an email to lbranquinho@livingstonnj.org. 
  • Hillside Elementary School will hold its back-to-school night for parents from 7-9 p.m.
  • Riker Hill Elementary School will hold its back-to-school night for parents from 7:30-9 p.m.
  • The Livingston Public Library's book sale is fully stocked and ongoing. Friends of the Livingston Public Library has more than 1,500 books available for purchase. Stop by the library during normal operating hours and pick up a summer book.
