The West Essex Art Association is will meet Wednesday from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Crane's Mill Town Square, 459 Passaic Ave. in West Caldwell, in the Activity Room on the lower level for coffee and an informal exchange of local art news and opportunities.

The art association's meeting is free and open to all artists and interested parties. For more information, contact Constance Seugling at (973) 239-5005.

The Livingston Public Library's Classic Movies Series will present "Waterloo Bridge" at 7 p.m. at the library. This class movie will feature actors and actresses born in 1913 — centenarians for Livingston's bicentennial.

"Waterloo Bridge" features Vivien Leigh, born Nov. 5, 1913, who is best know for her portrayals of Scarlett O'Hare and Blanche DuBois, but she appeared in dozens of films and stage plays from 1935 until her death in 1967.

Temple Sholom of West Essex, at 760 Pompton Ave. in Cedar Grove, will host a monthly Shred-It Day on Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. for people to discard those personal, financial papers you want to get rid of. Call the Temple office at 973-239-1321 to arrange a drop off or find out the other dates 'Shred It' is coming. Charge is $10 per box.
