Sept. 11 Memorial Services, Flu Vaccinations and More Wednesday

  • Wednesday marks the 12 anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Essex County will hold its annual memorial service, titled Essex County Remembers, at 8 a.m. at the Sept. 11th Memorial at Eagle Rock Reservation in West Orange, which overlooks Manhattan.
  • The Livingston Health Department will offer flu vaccines free to residents 65 and older with their Medicare card and Medicare as their primary insurance carrier on Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. at the Senior/Community Center, at 204 Hillside Ave. Vaccines for those under 65 years old be $20. Registration forms will be available at the clinic, at the Health Department and in the Senior/Community building. For more information, call (973)-535-7961, ext. 226, 227 or 228.
