The National Council of Jewish Women will have its Dessert & Dialogue on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, 432 Scotland Road, South Orange. The speaker will be Susan Weiss, executive director at the Center for Women's Justice, Israel, to discuss women's rights in Israel, marriage rights, equality and women of the Wall. 

The event is $10 for members, and $15 for nonmembers.  To register, call

The Livingston Public Library's Chess Club will meet from 4-5 p.m. This club is for students in 4-5 grade. Space is limited and registration is required. For more information, call the library at (973) 992-4600.
