About this column:
Young voices share stories, opinions, photographs and art.You wouldn't send a sports writer to review an art show, right? So the the idea of sending an adult to review teen star Miranda Cosgrove's concert just didn't seem right. Instead, Patch photographer and writer Bob Krasner took his 11-year-old daughter Ava to do the job right. In addition, we wrangled a one-on-one interview, which was posted last week. Here also, is Ava's review. Miranda Cosgrove, otherwise known as the star of TV's iCarly and also the little sister named Megan in Drake and Josh has a new career as a singer. Eleven-year-old Ava Krasner had the chance to sit down and chat with her favorite TV star, Miranda Cosgrove, before her recent concert at the Wellmont Theatre in Montclair. She also got to spend the night with Dad, photographer Bob Krasner, whose Behind the Lens feature captures the girls in action. Following is Ava's story and interview! When I walked into Miranda Cosgrove's dressing room my heart was beating so fast! I was VERY nervous but I was also VERY excited. I wasn't sure what she was going to …
