Here's what's happening in Livingston this week:

1. The Livingston Township Council meets tonight.  The Listening Post begins at 7 p.m., followed by the conference meeting at 7:30 p.m. and the regular meeting begins at 8 p.m. View the Listening Post agenda here.

2. The Livingston Nursing Department is collecting used jeans for homeless teenagers under the "Teens for Jeans" program. A collection box is set up inside the Livingston Senior and Community Center; 204 Hillside Ave. Collections will be taken until Wednesday, Feb. 8. 

Livingston Senior, Youth and Leisure Services will be hosting a Summer Camp Open House on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Senior/Community Center on Hillside Avenue. 3. On Friday, Feb. 10 there will be a Senior Social-Sadie Hawkins Dance at the SCC, 204 Hillside Ave. from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Entertainment is by DJ Allan Art; light refreshments will be served.  Sponsored by Care One Assisted Living of Livingston.
