Livingston honored veterans and scouts with a patriotic ceremony to mark the beginning of the daylong celebration for Independence Day. Gathering at Haines Pool, the groups stood proudly with flags as the township saluted members of Cpt. Arthur E. Smith Post 2856, American Legion Post 201, Jewish War Veterans Post 740, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Boy Scouts of America, Girls Scouts of the USA.
