Livingston residents of all ages participated in daytime and evening activities at Livingston High School in recognition of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 18.
Patch videographer Nilsa De La Cruz was on hand to capture some of the MLK Day of Service activities, including a talk with Mayor Arlene Johnson and a guitar Performance of "Blowin' in the Wind" by Pastor Leslie Martin of the Federated Church of Livingston. Anju Bhargava was the master of ceremonies.
The MLK Day of Service was sponsored by the Livingston Committee for Diversity (Keith Hines and Billy Fine helped to coordinate the event) and co-sponsored by the Healthy Community Healthy Youth (HCHY) Initiative of Livingston, Inc., Livingston Education Foundation (LEF), The Indian School of Livingston and the Livingston Clergy Association.
