Paintings, watercolors and sculptures from New Jersey artist on display and for sale.
Do you have a "Passion for Art?"
A group of 25 New Jersey are showing their works at a new exhibit on display in the Arts Council of Livingston gallery at the Livingston Town Center, 1130 Town Center Way.
The pieces on display show a wide variety of mediums: jewelry, watercolors, photographs, mixed-media works, paintings and sculptures.
All of the handmade artworks are available for sale and the goal of the show is to support local artists and give them public exposure, said Vivian Olshen, the council's secretary. A portion of the sales of works in the "Art for the Heart" section will be donated to the American Heart Association.
A special artists' reception will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the gallery. Admission is free and the gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays to Saturdays and by appointment. The "Passion for Art" show will on view until March 24.
