Jr. Robotic Teams Wow at FLL Expo
Thirteen teams participated in this year's First Lego League Expo.
As part of , the Livingston Robotics Club Jr. presented their 3rd annual outdoor Junior First Lego League Expo on Saturday. The event, which was sponsored by St. Barnabas Medical Center, was the largest outdoor Jr. FLL Expo in the nation and also coincided with Livingston’s Family Festival Day.
Thirteen teams from 10 towns participated in this year’s expo. The theme of their projects this year was food safety. The kids built projects out of legos related to how their food was produced, transported, consumed and how the food is safe.
There was also a 45-minute interactive show about chemistry behind the food by “Mad Science,” hands-on experiments related to the science of food.
