For Going Dark, A Big Time Rush

Local band Going Dark to open for Nickelodeon's power pop Big Time Rush.

Three months after playing in front of hundreds at the popular Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, has announced their next big concert. On Sept. 3, the young rock trio consisting of Oliver Shaw and Livingston's own LJ Militello and Alex Fogg will be opening for Nickelodeon’s power-pop group, “Big Time Rush.”

The event will take place at Six Flag’s Great Adventure in Jackson as part of their biggest event of the year, the “Back-to-School Bash 2011.”

Going Dark will be performing on the main stage area before BTR in this two stage, all day music event. Six Flags expects Big Time Rush to draw a crowd of nearly 8,000 people, surely making this the bands biggest and most important show to date.
