Wesley Wade of South Orange, a seventh grader at Montclair-Kimberley Academy (MKA), was recently named to join a team of the "Top 18" U.S. 13-year-old soccer players who will tour the Netherlands and Germany from Feb. 5-14. The team is sponsored by US Club Soccer and Nike.  Wade was chosen after his outstanding performance during the (national player identification and development) id2 US Club Soccer and Nike national tryout.

A soccer player since he was 5, Wade has played Center Defense, Center Midfield and Forward for local teams including the S.O. Cougars, the Livingston Lions, Rangers Lions and MKA.  His proud and supportive parents are Charles and Joyce Wade of South Orange. Wade is one of only three New Jersey students selected for the team.
