She graduated from Wilkes-Barre Nursing School in Pennsylvania and worked in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Montclair Community Hospital, and several area nursing homes. Mullaney was a devoted wife and mother who volunteered her time with the Fairview Home and School Association.
