Reverend George Keating of Kenilworth died on Aug. 3, 2010 at Cornell Hall in Union. He was 82. Born in Hartford, CT, Father Keating lived in Belleville before entering the priesthood. He lived at The Church of St. Theresa in Kenilworth for the past 30 years. As a priest, he served at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newark, working with children of the parish, was a spiritual director at the Immaculate Conception Seminary, and most recently was chaplain at St. Barnabas and Union hospitals, working with the terminally ill.
